That is the right linkage for a 550. They had a solid rod to a bell crank mounted on the firewall... I guess Ed's gonna have to pony up now, but don't worry, we'll help with the swap Ed. :-)

All this time I thought the CB Hexbar was close to correct but I was going on a 904 linkage I saw somewhere.
