And, I was considering putting a Whale Tail on my speedster, just for "looks" ?

I guess not, after reading all the comments in this topic.  People seem to want their Porsche 911 to look like the real race cars, which needed more rubber on the ground and ground effects and large rear spoilers.  But, for daily driving in the city, with eight inch high concrete parking lot stops that low front spoiler would not last long.

The large advertisement for the Porsche Shop is interesting.  Not sure many of my customers would allow me to put that large of MY shop's name on the rear window on their modified engine VW Beetles .   But, it's a thought.  I put on nice looking chrome decals with my shop's name , address on them, on the engine fan shroud, but one has to look closely to see my shop's decal.  Now, that said, I did see one person take off the fan shroud from one of my good engines and place it on some junk engine somewhat else bought and claim I had built the engine.  The new owner of the "modified" engine called me to complain how bad the engine ran.  I took one look at it and told him, only the fan shroud and decal was mine, not the engine .  Good, that only happened once !  I do not pass out the decals, only put them on MY engines.

Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Day. ---George K. ---
