My BFF from high school has a place (very modest, I assure you) on Lake W'saukee and I visit there as often as I can. Have hit the classic wood boat show there once (hence the pics above), and think to do it every year, but as Lane says, shyt happens. BFF has a modren FG runabout used for skiing, and we will tour the lake from time to time (go fetch beer at one or another cove here or there), and ogle the multo-fancy water-side estates and boat houses that dot the shore-line, of which there are many and they look like those above. One of his neighbors on his cove has the sea plane and tools in and out that way. That would be THE way to have a Lake house. My friend lives in Fairfax VA, and its about 11-12 hrs one way to drive.
How about VW cooling "woods"?
