Do you have any idea what the calipers are? TRW? Varga? Other?
I’m not seeing a spring clip exactly like that one so we might need help identifying the caliper it goes to.
A picture of the caliper and pads would help as well.

Is that for a single pin brake pad (EMPI shown)? Most Ghia ones are 2 pin - more common.
Shipping is really expensive. Does anyone know if NAPA or Amazon carry these?
@dlearl476 posted:Probably. But you’ll need to know “year, make, and model” at most Napa stores. It’s the only way their employees know to find something on the shelf.
Agreed. The days of bringing something to the counter and asking the parts man to match it are unfortunately over. Unless you have a couple gray-haired, white-haired, or no-haired dudes at your local FLAPS!
Parts men are pretty much dead. Long live parts men!
The guys and gal here at a huge NAPA here are still the best, they can find and match up most any part and mix paint too all with a can-do attitude. I walked into an Advance Auto store asked the kid for 8' of 1/4 id fuel line, he disappears and comes back to the counter with panic in his eyes says" I can't find a tape measure" I tell him to use the floor tiles which, went right over his head.
Around here, even NAPA is staffed with "I can't find a tape measure" type employees today.
I’ve always had good luck with NAPA parts searches……. To the point that a part number was given for non stocked item…..
Some of the counter people just want to use the computer because they can’t read a parts catalog……. Just sayin…….

At my local NAPAs, those guys are too lazy to be bothered any more.
The vibe I get is that they prefer to deal with commercial accounts in the hundreds of dollars per PO and can’t be bothered to mess with a walk-in cash customer.
It’s sad because they actually stock a lot of AC VW parts, but if you can’t order it online and pick it up at the store, you’re better off going with a VW supplier and wait for shipping.
I'm seconding Dave's point of view on NAPA. My store is 300 yards away from the largest Truck Stop in southern New England (Size is relative - One of the truck stops in Carlisle, PA, can fuel 300 trucks at the same time. My place can do maybe 20). They tend to cater to commercial accounts (they're ALWAYS working on filling commercial orders) and see walk-ins as an annoyance.
For example, if I buy a NAPA Gold 1515 oil filter (Made by WIX) the cost to me is $12.00 from their online catalog and I have to drive over there to get it.
If I go onto Amazon and get a genuine WIX 51515 (the exact same thing even to the color) the online price is $6.29 with free shipping.
When I had my F250 Diesel truck, an oil filter and secondary fuel filter (both changed at the same time) cost me a combined $62 bucks. One day I was buying them and Dave, the store owner and a long-time friend, asked if I was paying cash, which I was. He put them on the account of a trucking firm down the street and took my cash. They cost $35 bucks.
The only thing my local NAPA has going for it is it is well stocked and it is ten minutes away, but I'm buying less and less there all the time
Yes ! I just bought an $85 ( retail) idler pulley for $46. Find a shop friend that is willing to let you use their business name at purchase, you pay cash, they make out with points and vol sales that further discount their cost as well as discount your cost: NAPA Auto Zone, Advance, etc.
I am a shareholder in NAPA and want to thank you all for your business. If you are interested they are rock steady and will never have a big upside. However they have paid and increased the dividend for over 50 straight years. Follow for a while and buy on a dip. I agree their retail service is not what it once was. I have written to shareholders relations about their lack of service to a walk in customer.
