Ever have a senior moment that lasts over a week? I backed out of my garage and noticed a puddle of water on the floor near the right front wheel was, plus a few drips leading out of the garage. It was clear and odorless and cool to the touch. Had I been driving over wet roads the last time I parked in the garage? A day or two went by before I drove the Cabriolet out on a bright sunny day and returned to the stable, again the next morning, there was a puddle of water where I park. Now my brain went into overdrive, mmm Subaru powered, water cooled engine where do I start? The water was clear and odorless, eliminate radiator coolant, besides the radiators are in the back and not near the spot of water. Eliminating brake fluid, transmission fluid, even the blue windshield washer fluid, I racked my gray haired covered brain for the answer. Finally I took pictures of the puddle and of the area over it when parked. I couldn't get under the car far enough to get a good look at the undercarriage and didn't feel like hauling out the jack and safety stands so I just stuck my arm in as far as I could and snapped away. Reviewing the pictures on my computer I could just make out a short stub of a pipe with what looked like a drop of water ready to fall. I quickly emailed Steve at SAS with my find, feeling like a novice intern showing Dr House a revealing xray. I waited another 24 hours for Steve to answer. Anticipating bad news I opened my mailbox, a message from Steve! Just one line popped up, a simple question stared at me, the answer so simple even Vince could have answered it!

Do you have the A/C on when you park? DOH!

lol, Last time i tasted an unknown liquid was in my high school chemistry class, it was diluted hydrochloric acid, so much for the taste test. I do have battery acid, ant poison and other colorless liquids in my garage, psst don't tell Cory. It was a test of courage just to touch it!

No cat Bob, but we do have wild iguanas running around as well as Bufo Toads, both of which leave puddles of pee behind.
