lol priceless
And that's how CMC built a Speedster in advertised 40 hours!
I've had a few speedster projects that the previous owner gave up at the CMC quoted 40 hour mark
Alan:
I wonder how many of those 40 hour failures are still sitting out there? You'd think that most had been re-sold and finished by now, but they seem to turn up pretty regularly don't they?
When I would be looking for the next project I would have a few to chose from . In the last two years it's become scarce so I grab whatever is out there. Come to Carlisle and I'll share some wild stories about the people and places where I would go to get them ..like the time I went to Queens NY for a speedster project and had to hire 4 Jamaican's 9am out of a bar to carry a speedster body.
You should write a book! "Chasing Speedsters for Thrills, Fun and Profit".
Four guys carrying a Speedster body through Queens, every day occurence.
"like the time I went to Queens NY for a speedster project"
That the one that was in the tight alley and the only way out was to carry it?
And I agree - you should write a book. I can recommend a good mentor/editor, too!
Alley was 5' wide those guys had to tip the body on it's side...I sponsored the beer
