Living in a State with a concealed carry license is a good thing - when it comes to protecting yourself and property. When we lived in New Jersey, it was difficult for a private citizen to own let alone carry.
(Of course, getting permission from my wife to let me carry when I'm around her is another situation. She darn near ran out the door a year ago Thanksgiving when a friend's neighbor pulled a 38 out of her purse at the dining room table to get to the pictures of her grand kids and both the gun and several bullets spilled out on the floor!)
