Most of our cars have little or no rubber weather stripping. In addition if we do, it does not touch all the way along the door and from time to time I will hear a little door chatter. I would like to fix this as I am sure it will cause premature latch ware. Is there an easy way to adjust the catch plate or latch to stop this?
Thanks Guys

Dave,
I saw a post with this question some time last year and all I remember about the reply was "black electrical tape". The post was not clear about where to put it and being a coward I though a question like "where do I put it" would start an entire new thread leading who knows where.

But, that said, I have the same problem and hope to see the answer.

David,
I myself had some premature latch problems, I know, your thinking, not Vince....but its true....I'm told it comes with age....
I had some door chatter....when I took it to Vintage a few weeks ago, I told Kirk and he fixed it, at least for now......Don't know what he did, but it is much better now.....
Hope we have the same problem after this summers runs....
