I'm wondering what other guys have done to make the connection from the door handle to the interior mechanism that releases the door latch? Mine looks like this right now, but you can see the bright pink line is where a piece of metal needs to make that connection. Does anybody have info or photos on what they did?

The bottom of that bent conduit piece is anchored with a bolt at the bottom of the door's inner panel.
