Hello strangers.
Can anyone help with my door handle issue...Trying to figure out how in **** that handle is working with door lock. I just dont get this and yes i did read that manual allready but it just wont open for me "maybe some language issues too :)"

What i can see that 64 beetle lock and handle wont get each others inside the door, but how you have done this..some extra metal work?
I just would like to ask if someone having detailed pictures or something to clear this before i just start to twist and weld something better than life is...or use to be...:)

Not sure which kit you are building (not in your profile). None of the kits that I know of use the OEM VW door handle. They all seem to use one that mounts with a threaded shaft/large nut - vice the tang clip of the OEM one. The striker plate and latch mechanism are VW --- just not the actual handle. My CMC doesn't even have a key lock in the button (like it would do any good).
