Go to the top of this page, make sure you have scrolled horizontally so that the page shifts as far left as possible. Use the blue scroll bar at the bottom of the page to do this. The Dialog button (actually, an oblong box) will appear to the right of

"iPhone App" and "Alerts." At least that's what happens on my iMac. I haven't used a PC in a few years, so it might be different with a PC.

Ashcreek (don't know your real name),

What is the problem with your door handle?

You just need to give us some details.

It sounds like you are getting email notifications of a new post. You have to come to the site and reply, you cannot send an email.

No need for a Dialog, email or private message.

Go to SpeedsterOwners.com,

Click "Post Reply" at the bottom of this page and spell it out for us.

I’m going to jump into the middle of this because I took my handles off to glass the doors over, and if memory serves me right, the rod you’re talking about is affixed to a pivot bar that attaches to the bottom back edge of the door.

Here's a link to the manual.

You are probably missing the actuator tube at the top of the pic. The pic is rotated 90 deg to the left.  At the right is the pivot bolt with lock nut located at the bottom of the door... Farther to the right you can see the threaded rod from the push button on the exterior handle...  and then the slot that engages the latch mechanism...  The rod with the yellow paint on it, is the connection to the interior handle....   Hope this helps....

AshCreek, READ THIS COMPLETELY.

I'm really sorry, but you must post to the same thread. I have deleted 4 different threads which contain your same question and reply. I am sure you are reading this in an email notification. The email reads at the bottom "Please do not reply to this email"

For easy reference. Here is the link to the thread you originally started

All you have to do is click on it, and at the bottom of the page click the Post Reply button. Type your response and click Submit Reply.

Look at the other door.  If it contains the part you need, you have a template of what you need to make.  Be aware that there may be a left and right connecting rod.  Remove the rod from the other door to check it in the door with the missing part.  It it fits, you're good to go.  If not, you likely need to make the mirror opposite.

Ashcreek,

You keep posting new threads on the same subject, I really don't have a choice but to keep deleting them.  If you want to continue the conversation you must post to the same thread.

If you are reading this from an email notification, you can use this link from your email. https://www.speedsterowners.com...ent/3543431681524253

Click Post Reply at the bottom of the page, the same way you did previously.
