Door Handle Seal Replacement In Less Than 10 Minutes!

Nicely done Troy.  I couldn't help but be distracted by what is not a very private toilet but any port in a storm I guess.  Just kidding!  Nice of you to put this up for all to see.

Lol.  The toilet is waiting to be installed and I just didn't have anywhere else to put it, so there it sits, but I promise it isn't being used.

HA! I'm glad I'm not the only one who was wondering what those wheels were. Are they Fuchs?

Never mind. Purchased in Feb, by Troy: Mangles, 4 lug in excellent condition with new hubcaps.

How did you disconnect the arm from the internal handle? I could not find a way to remove it from the cylinder. That make it impossible to pull the handle out to get the new gasket around the cylinder. 

 

You don't!   That's what makes it so quick and easy.  It didn't show very well in the video and I apologize for that, but you just slip the seal on from the small end of the handle and stretch it over the push button and it is then in place around the threaded barrel.

It's usually at that point that I discover I left the channel locks inside the door.
