The later IM cars have door locks in the door handle push button. Replacing your door handles with the IM door handles might work; you could call Henry at IM and ask him how much the handles with locks cost and if he thinks they woul work for you. In any event you could probably make them work with some adaptation.
Stan I have thought of putting a remote locking system with solenoids using my stock door handles but there would have to be an existing interior locking mechanism in place for this to work. I did this with my 97 Camero had no power lock only manual locks, but the solenoid took care of locking an unlocking the door by moving the existing lock back and forth. The only tipes of lock I can find to buy are the ones with the door handles with the lock. Unless someone can tell me where I can find the interior locks.
Locks on a convertible are a questionable idea. Get a good alarm system. I had a guy cut the top on a 69 Cutlass about 15 years ago. Then again on a 73 vette about a decade ago. I don't even lock my doors or keep anthing worth stealing in them. I do have two stage microwave alarm systems.
