Dragon Planning -- is it too early??

I'd like to understand some rumor I heard floating at Carlisle, wherein the good Dr. Clock (?) was reported to be offering "berths" on a trailer to the Dragon. Now THAT sounds intertesting. Might make the deal and the time needed to consumate it a workable thing. Alan: any truth to this rumor? Pls advise.

Also, I am emphatic supporter of the the Pumpkin Run 2, so let's keep the calendars straight, and leave time for both -?-

Alan and I spoke early this year, setting up his second annual MD/PA run for October 9-11. The third annual SOC Dragon Run & Specialty Auto "Brunch" plus tour is set for October 16-18.

Would love for some to attend both !

C'mon, Kelly, it's a lot shorter drive than the one I make to Carlisle.

If you actually can get Alan to do the "Group W Bus" thing, that'd be sweet, but come either way.

I've been toying with the idea but there is a lot of considerations that I would need to look into. There are way more people interested than I have space (4) for. I would have to record this move as a part of my hauling business. I would have to figure operating costs, liability and a bunch of other DOT related bs.
On the flip side, I would hope to have more participation at the Pumpkin Run. ~Alan

Thinking about a tri-state area cruise in June-July, probably short notice(about a week) depending on weather forecasts. Tristate means NY/NJ/PA, and open to anyone, but particularly those who live close. Route is up to Max/Rocky, they used to do this run with the NJRC. Maybe we'll have to raid Rocky's house and move along the restoration. I know Lenny is up for it, and Max, Rocky, Howard, and Alan Merklin expressed interest. Maybe the weekend after July 4th or so?
