So I decided to go for a drive @ 11 at night.I stopped at the gas station(closeto my house) to fill up. After I was done, I notice my lights didn't work.I am not sure if it is a bad connection or a fuse or else but I had to drive my car back home with no lights. It was very scary because I live out in the country and after one point there are no lights on the road, so I had to use my blinker to see where road ended.Thank god my car(and myself) made it home safe.

Lambros, check to see if holding the high beam switch in will turn them on. If it turns them on, but they go out right away when you let go of the high beam switch, then its the relay. Fairly common VW problem. Its usually located behind the light switch, just follow the wires back from the switch until you find the little square relay, and that should be it.
The same thing happen with My VS! It was very scary , I had my high beams on with my driving lights and blew a fuse. I also drove with directional light until I could pull over. I had to use my cell phone for light so I could change the fuse with another so I could get home. Is there anyway of putting the lights on two fuses?
