Just received my DTM fan housing form Jake Raby.
I noticed Alan Merklin installed one of these in one of the cars he built; am wondering if anybody else has installed one of these.

I bought a cheap Taiwan rear breast plate without heat risers or air holes, and it doesn't line up well with the DTM housing.

Somebody on another forum said the OEM breast plate fits better.

Any guidance on this will be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Thanks! The only glitch I ran into was the top 2" venting hose hit the underside of the deck lid and the right hinge even though I made a set of narrow polished aluminum hinges .
I had to trim a bit of the underside deck lid away and finish it off but want to replace the paper hose ( can be seen from within the deck lid grill) with something made of polished stainless or?
