installed today... took a few hours. I scratched my doghouse getting the center manifold out! - o well...

It was interesting just "figuring out" how to take everything apart and put it back together. Got everything on, started it up. whoops, went clockwise with firing order, sounded WEIRD... and rocked like and SOB then i got the order right... and it was LOUD... o hell... i guess what i thought were simply heat risers from around the exhaust are actually plumbed INTO the exhaust? -

I was a little upset that CB performance didnt ask/tell me i needed the blockoff plates for those. I was also a bit upset that they did not, as it says in their instructions.. include a metal tee fitting for the fuel line. I have used a plastic one temporarily.

the linkage wasnt as difficult to adjust as i thought, i think the carbs are very close to opening at the exact same time and closing etc... how do i know for sure if its all right?

I also ordered today a breather box... block off plates. and a few other things that i need to put in my atomic-cool remote cooler in.

Best to also buy an inexpensive carb sync tool (measures air intake )to get the carbs set up right
