does know anything about dual weber 40 DCOE 151 carbs? i'm looking to upgrade my stock 1600cc fromits single solex. also, wasn't there a thread where somebody with a lot of knowledge here, explained the choices you have in carbs and the difference between them? i remember reading it a fair while back, but when looking for it today, couldn't find it! i know you guys will have the answers to both these questions! it's like being locked in a room with 'the brains trust' in here! thanks!

Michael; Webers are great carbs but the ones you have would work better on a larger than stock displacement engine. The Kadron/Solex single barrel dual carb set comes set up from the box to be bolted on to a stock 1600 cc and it's very reasonably priced. They offer you the most bang for the buck in performance upgrades. If you're planning on rebuilding your motor; increase displacement and flow (port/polish and/or use larger valve heads, performance cam as well as use a more free flowing exhaust system) and your Webers will work like a charm. Otherwise, if staying with the stock displacement and/or not rebuilding get the Kadron/Solex kit.
