OK, a different cruise for SoCal SOCers!

Looking for interest in cruising the waters of Newport Beach marina in a Duffy (electric boat)!
General idea is to drive your 'other' car to Newport Beach, board a rental Duffy and take a 2-hour cruise through the marina. Either Capt Ron, I mean Will Pierson, or myself will pilot. Bring your favorite snacks (wine/cheese/fingerfood).

Two weekend options are Sept 12th or Sept 19th. Let me know how many of you are interested on either of these 2 weekends and I will set it up. Depending on number of people making this cruise, cost would be $20/per person (if only 1 boat is needed). I will update cost factor as people confirm their participation in this harbor cruise.

We've done this many times with the kids/family and it is a blast!

Peace - Out!

Tom, we'll try to make whatever day/time (Sat/Sun) accommodates the most respondents. Late afternoons are nice on the water! Depending on how late we make it, maybe we can incorporate a group dinner at one of the local eateries when we finish our harbor cruise (Joe's Crab Shack is right next door to the Duffy place).

O.K., it looks like we're leaning towards Saturday Sept 12th 3:00PM for this cruise. Before reserving the Duffy, I will confirm attendance on Monday before our Saturday cruise and post directions. Bring your favorite snacks/drinks for this 2-hour cruise. We can join for dinner afterwards at Joe's Crab Shack (next door to Duffy dock).

Suggestion was made for dressing like your favorite character from Gilligan's Island (the floor is now open for wise-cracks)...
