I can't seem to find a vendor/website that sells semi-truck shift boots to the fellow who suggested that as an alternative to my toilet plunger under hood collar for my new gas tank and filler... I've looked high and low and it seems everyone wants to sell little leatherette fru-fru things as shift boot covers.

Then I went searching for the post here on the forums where it was stated somebody sells a purpose built kit for this application...I can't find the/F@#."?!4 post that was in...

I'm lost on the internut.
Help.

And you guys thought all I could do was rub my keyboard and my monitor together and make fire... HAH!

I used this old novel I have at my work station, the pages toward the back are all yellow... I looked for the heavys on line and got nowhere, but low and behold, in this aging paper book there was a guy across town with a truck parts joint...he was out of 'em but his Napa store twenty minutes away shot one down to him. $14.00 bucks, I'm done.

Now I can get back on line and warm my hands and rest my brain.
Whew!
Paul I have one of those old paper things too, but I can't remember how to use it. There is no where to plug a keyboard in, and no 'keyword search'. I tried one-finger-typing the pages, but just end up with a black finger tip. Any advice on how to boot this thing up?

Nice you hear you got your part for less than an arm or leg. I heard about this guy once who bought a car from the wife for about 4k and then sold it to the husband for about 12k. Unbelievable! ;-)
