Dunkel Brothers 2004

A beautiful day on Sunday (2/1/04) in Anaheim, CA at Dunkel Brothers annual Porsche Show and Swap Meet. In attendance from our group:
Dale Bates, Bruce Williams, Charlene Saunders, Kirk Duncan (VS), and John Steele (JPS). I'd estimate over 400 Porsches (mostly 356s) were there! It was amazing. Hopefully, this will inspire more of us to make the scene at Knotts Berry Farm in April!

The picture of the three of us is all wrong. I was standing about 2 feet infront of John and Bruce. Oh yeah, a didgital camera adds about 50 pounds and a goofy look, it's a proven fact! Really!

That ain't quite right, John and I were standing in that trench so Charlene could get us all in! I will admit you get points for showing up at 7 AM and in a T shirt and shorts when it was about 40 degrees.

My first time at Dunkles and a real joy! Now I know where all those 356's go for retirement, Southern California. John and I were commenting about the $$ value of all the cars on display, multi millions I'd think. By the way, we drove back to Johns home with the top down! No problem.

Well, regardless of who was standing where, it certainly is nice to see the photos of all those beautiful cars, and no snow!

Now I remember what Summer is like.
