IT IS ALL THERON'S FAULT ...)

The site of Theron's Lotus at Morro Bay regenerated an old urge to own a Lotus. What a great looking car! Long story short ... we just bought our own Lotus last week. It was delivered Friday evening and we have been driving in the mountains and just sitting in the garage with a bottle wine and apple slices grinning a lot. It is great fun to drive and goes like a cat with its tail on fire. Can't really replace the Speedster or the B Coupe for general appeal but what fun to drive. (The LMS says it "could" be easier to get in and out of!)

Yeah, draggin' your butt across those incredibly wide door sills and dropping into that excuse for a seat (although far more comfortable than a typical Speedster seat) has to be done to be believed. Once you get in there, though, it seems to fit like a glove and everything is right where it's supposed to be, without even thinking about it.

I've had quite a few laps in a Elise on a couple of different NE tracks and can more than attest to its' handling capabilities - cat-like more than sums it up.

Enjoy!
