Early 911/912 seats in an IM

I've decided to part out my 66 912 project but part of the problem in doing so is the high cost of shipping stuff out of here. I had the entire interior done in black leather some years ago and it has been in storage ever since. The front seats are an exact match for the later 356 units I'm told so I was wondering if anybody has fitted these to their speedy?

The door panels I had done up were never mounted and no holes were cut in the leather so I should be able to adapt them to the speedster. The pockets look the same as on some cars on this site...running the full length of the panel. I have enough of the leather left over to do the dash and then some. Other than the seats, fitting it should not be to difficult.

I'd be looking at swapping out all the red leather in my car for black so the car would end up triple black....exterior, interior and top.

Any thoughts?
