Dinging in from overseas, for my wife Christine and myself. We have reservations at the hotel, would love to eat some pig, and meet the gang. I am still crossing my fingers that the car will be done, so am rolling the dice on this one.

You're close enough that y'all should come with or without the car. It'll be a blast either way.

Great Stopping Point during the October Rally weekend:
Wheels throgh Time Motorcycle & Car Museum (WTT) in Maggie Valley, NC
Maggie Valley is 34 miles due west of Asheville (just past Waynesville). I photographed the owner, Dale Walksler, being interviewed by Jay Leno yesterday at the Pebble Beach Concours. The great thing about WTT is that EVERYTHING in the museum runs !

Dale is a wonderful host, and he would love to have us. I have photographed magazine articles on WTT & I took our local PCA club there a few years ago. I know everyone in our group will love touring this place.

Let's move this over to "Recent thoughts on Fall trip to the Smokies".
