Early VW "Bulli" concept

This is the earlier VW "Bulli" concept van-much better than the latest version. (unable to post photo in "Anything Goes" section):

I'd like to see a real retro "23 window" version.

Wasnt that damn near 10 years ago? I remember being really into it, then heard nothing about the concept ever again. Id buy one of the original concepts in a heartbeat. I dont like the nose on the new one (just did a google search).

Never had seen the Bulli "crew"...not too bad:

I was all hot and bothered for the concept van as our new "soccer mom" vehicle many years ago, and then it just went away... then they launched the rebadged Caravan and called it a Routan or something, very disapointed. I think that concept was the one and only time I could say my heart was set on a van...

I've got Ford vans for my business, and have run service out of everything from an early Toyota min-van to an E350 dually with a service body. I have a vintage '64 VW panel. Disparaged as they are, there is no better vehicle for moving lots of people/stuff (and I've tried). You could say I'm a reluctant van man.

The Bulli is no van. It's barely as useful as an old Xb.
