I need to know what clutch went into Butch.
I looked over my paperwork and read the binder and didn't come away with the maker & model. My recollection has faded. Help!

It is time to replace Mr. Clutch and I was hping to get it in before this weekend.

My $$ says KEP Stage II. Obviously you want to talk to Jake, but I'll bet that's it Paul. Pretty darn affordable and superfast shipping to you.

I sent an email to customer service @ massive Type 4 and thought I would posthere also... I was thinking it was a Kenedy 2000 lb or some such thing, but funny how having the exact model makes the replacement so much easier... something about color coding too, I was told

my records say that it was kennedy stage II witha Daiken disc.

If the pressure plate has gone bad I MUST rebalance the replacement to the flywheel!!! I have the balance records and can do do this, but no one else can and it MUST be done!

if the disc has went bad, that can be changed easily with no balance impacts.

whats the symptoms?

Thanks for the reply and caution. I will get to the bottom or extent of the matter later this week and make arrangements accordingly... If my email didn't go through you missed a couple good stories about Butch's Canadian adventures or why it is good to have a big Type4 when your handling gets called into play!

Oh, the symptom is I'm cruising along at highway speed and need to overtake a vehicle and when I accelerate in fourth, the engine just revs up.
OR

I was going through the gears getting on the freeway coming home from a sales meeting and I was going to go fast and when I went from second to third, the engine revv'd up, I let off recaptured some momentum and then had the same slippage third to fourth.

When I just drive regular, no problems. When I'm on the go button I don't get immediate go.
