EARTHQUAKE!!!...

WOW! It's 11:40 PST and we just experienced a moderate earthquake (5.8) here in SoCal. It really shook up our office building here and I ran out of the building shrieking like a 12 year old girl...

...well maybe not like a little girl...I'm just saying...

ONE OF OUR LOCATIONS POWER IS DOWN
JIM I ALWAYS HAVE THE RADIO ON IN MY OFFICE. IT STOPPED PLAYING AND WHEN I LOOKED AROUND MY MONITOR I COULD SEE THE TIME STILL ON JUST NO RADIO AND THEN IT HIT. SOME 91 FWY DAMAGE TO THE BRIDGES THEY ARE ANNOUNCING

I'm in Glendale on the 7th floor and our building is on earthquake rollers. Talk about shake, rattle and roll!! Glad THAT is over!!! Reporting epicenter 2 miles SW of Chino Hills and 5 miles SE of Diamond Bar.

Ahhhh shake and bake So Cali, the place to drive Speedies and then shake like a baby.. No problems at work and everything seems to be cool.. House and boys are cool, Dylan thought Brandon fell off his bed! too funny, thanks for everyones thoughts here too. Chino hills is about 20 miles from me at work but closer to the house..

I am in Placentia, CA and almost on top of this one!!!!!! Diamond Bar/Chino Hills just a few miles north. My daughter was home alone and she said it was hard, really hard, really load and everything was falling of the shelfs and pictures came off the walls. I just got home and luckly no structual damage. A close one, but no cigar. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, i forgot about the 100 or so fires going on at this time, i guess im getting use to to choking smoke on some days. we had a big quake about 15 yrs ago that started in nevada and rolled on thru. it actually woke me out of a deep sleep and trhat is saying something.
