BoltsIf your hubs use lug nuts, no problem. But if you have lug bolts, taking a wheel off or putting it back on can be a wrestling mach. You have to support the wheel and tire with one hand, and unscrew (or screw in) the bolts with the other. And, if you have Wheel Skinz, you’ll need a third hand to hold it in place.

To make life easier, cut the heads off two 12 mm bolts, each about 80 mm long. When in place at the top of the hub they support the wheel (and Skinz) while you unscrew or screw in the lug bolts. It’s like having an extra hand.

Nice idea....thanks. I'm getting quite tired of skrunching my left foot up under the wheel to line up and tighten the first wheel bolts while the wheel/tire invariably wobbles left and right.

We took a different approach, Laner , kind of a wider angle and always looked at an easier way over the same fence. A few buddies and I knew we're never going to make the high school football team because of our overall size. We did however have a keen eye on the Cheerleaders though and kept them very busy... Hillcrest High School. Some of the girls didn't make the Cheerleading team either.....
