If you're going to Southie, you might as well do a Pub Crawl and hit the Claddagh, then wander up to Clery's (but don't order a Guinness there - it's a Cork pub...ask for a Murphy's or a Beamish), and finish off the night at the Bull and Finch (the Cheers! Bar) over near the public gardens. Better yet, pass on the Bull and Finch and just head on over to McCarthy's on Boylston Street!! Might as well go to a real Irish pub than go to a tourist trap!!!!
If you go Saturday night, at least two of those will have a sessiun going with traditional Irish music. What a night!!
