Are you revved and ready to attend the East Coast Speedster Meet and Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals in May? Or are you still on the fence about bringing your Speedster or just coming out and supporting the gang? Kit Car magazine calls it one of two "can't miss" kit car shows in North America and "a manufacturer's show where new cars debut and old cars are displayed proudly". Carlisle calls it the event that has become "the top U.S. showcase for kit and replicar manufacturers and dealers". Here are a two recent press releases from Carlisle Events:

We now have Speedsters registered from all four corners of the east coast - Florida, Iowa, Canada, Rhode Island - and many points in between. Are you registered yet? Please don't forget to send an e-mail to me when you have. See you there!
If the NHL players all start wearing visors, how will you know if they're really hockey players if they have all of their teeth?

To Hell with the toques AND the visors. You guys gonna bring down some decent Canadian BEER??

Gee, come to think of it, will the ever-vigilant US Border guys even let you bring that stuff over the border? After all, we all know how much alcohol there is in Canadian beer.......could be used as a terrorist bomb or somethin'. All we get here is "Molson EXPORT" (read that, 3.2 beer, eh?)

Maybe we could trade.......I dunno, something like Gourmet Portuguese Chorico sausage from Fall River, Massachusetts (the home of Chef Emeril Legasse) for some good Canadian Beer, eh?

You guys have your beer, but can you get a Chorico and Linguica Pizza up there? (or would you even WANT to?????)

gn (reaching for the "Tums")
You guys are having way too much fun, I'm not sure three days at Carlisle is going to be enough!

Hey Gordon, we may need to nominate you as the cooler and beer provider since you'll probably have room in your truck & trailer. I won't have much room after putting the wife, change of clothes, fold-up chairs, side curtains and a bunch of Speedsters East hats in my Speedster. Did I say Speedsters East hats? Stay tuned.
I will be bringing a couple of 24's with me for you guys....I always where a full face. You never know when you get checked into the boards or catch a high-stick. But my Speedster turns quick so I can deke the most of 'em. Did you catch the outdoor NHL game in November? They were wearing tuques, eh!
I am about to go to the ski hill across the street to teach 2000 Brits that are here for a ski week! By May my Liver should be back to normal. Cheers!!
Hey Bruce, have we hit the magic 25 yet? I'm thinking I may need that tent so I don't have to lay out in the sun (or rain....curse me, curse me) with my shades and Speedsters East hat turned sideways recovering from a night of debauchery. Sure am glad I don't drink anymore. Unfortunately, I don't drink any less either. Just kidding. he he he
