Whoa. Overriders. Real Fuchs. The steering wheel. And the CB Perf engine. Hard to make a case against this car.
That's Dale Bates' old Speedster. Beautiful car, multiple car show wins. Helluva deal for that car.

AND...the FUCHS have the HEARTS
I've have that car pinned to wall of my Man Barn for last 4 years.

I'll say. Dale still regrets selling it.

WHY did he sell? Got a new one?
Dale sold his coveted black IM Speedster and replaced it with a water-cooled IM Roadster!

Those overriders, FUCHS, and FOGS truly make a BLACK SPEEDSTER very ELEGANT
The 5 spokes- yes! The fog lights and overriders- too cluttered for me...
Love the car!
it is a nice car, went to a few vw car shows with Dale....he would jack up each wheel and position the valve stem to 6 oclock on each wheel
believe he replaced it with an IM, kinda stone grey with "Campbell soup" red interior as he called it, don't know if he still has it.
He does not. He's got a Karmann Ghia.
Wow, really? Karmann Ghias are totally cool and all that but...Isn't this sort of like divorcing your supermodel-nymphomaniac-wife-who-cooks-like-Emeril-and-cleans-like-merry-maids-and-brings-you-beer in order to marry, uh.... like a normal wife?

We have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to Porsches down here in Miami. It really is a lot of fun and Parkhaus hosts cars and coffee every month.

Gazi posted:We have a real cool shop down here which is a Singer reseller and they do the work on the cars in the southeast. Check out http://www.parkhaus1.com/. One of the Singer owners down here also has a bad ass Beck with beehives. I was at the shop yesterday checking out a 78 Targa and the Beck renewed my longing to be a speedster owner.

Nice inventory but they have BIG asking prices....they jack up everything to the MAXX but big money in Miami and likely the smart move for a PORSCHE dealer to sync with their home crowd. good luck with your SPEEDSTER search!
Still sad I missed this one.
