I put up a number of items related to our cars, mostly badges. Look up using the advanced search for my seller name: Paulsmoney. That should get you to my stuff, which is priced to become your stuff!

I found a chrome ash tray for undermounting. Good for stuffing keys or geerage door remotes. Some assorted knobs, windshield wipers, so feel free to email me with a wish or want list, I may have it stashed somewhere!

You're right, TC. That's the plan.

I think those'd look good on top of the footwell tins, under my front end. When it's up, it'll be some nice color under there -- without any chance of some hoodlum prying them off my grille on a day-to-day basis.

Paul, lindisfarne793 AT hotmail.com if you got a special, one-time-only good deal for me?
Hai, dozo.
...found some flat, not nippled hubcaps with Porsche crests while unpacking the Christmas ornaments over the weekend. $100 for the set.

Still have a nice chrome 356 ashtray $30, a badge bar on ebay,Butch's Hull period-correct compass needs a new home and includes the box for you collector-types $40.

1957 VW single cab. Deal fell through. Holiday special price $5,799.00

Santa has to get to a meeting now...
Hey Cory -

What about attaching a ground strap that attaches to your chassis and free-hangs low enough to touch the road? When you're stopped, it makes contact with the ground and discharges any positive charge built up in Hoopty.

They used to do this back in the day (50's & 60's) to minimize static shock when getting out of the car. I don't know if it worked or not or if it was just a marketing trick of J.C. Whitney, but I guess it's kinda like the ground wire on airplanes parked at an airstrip.

Then again, this may have nothing to do with nothing!
Paul, if I can isolate my positive charge, I'll be sure and snap that up. I'll be in front of the car making sheet metal pieces tomorrow, so I'll surely have an answer for you by mid-afternoon.

(It's not that we military types can read them accurately, you know. It's so us military types don't have to stop for directions when the right seater says it's time to admit we're lost!)

Glad to know to expect the badges. That's cool; they're my Christmas present to myself! Thanks, Santa!
I used to always get REALLY lost using my military compass - until I figured out I had to push the little doo-dad on the side to allow the needle to free-spin!

Did you have the same problem, Cory?

Angela -

I don't think it was the Polyester thing as much as it was the 'powder-blue' color that was the static culprit. I mean I may not have a 136 I.Q.- but then again, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT!!

What was it we're selling here? Sorry for the hi-jack, Paul!
