Shown at SEMA in 2015 and discussed on here a few times. It's not the pan based Speedster you're paying for, it's everything else plus all the man power to execute it. Plenty of things to like about it, plenty of things to dislike about it. Very cool for what it is. There's an a$$ for every seat and this one will find one eventually. Te bedazzled Speedster sold, this one will too.
Quite the creation
Not for me but it will be for someone. Likely the definition of a garage queen
There's a lot to like, but equally a lot not to like...

Yup I just can't get past the European lights wired up the wrong way else I would lay down the cash fellas...

Would be perfect for a high income CALL GIRL to scoot around town in a warm climate
I suppose there’s a rear-end for every seat, but this one will stretch the theory towards its limit.
No VW parts on the car, the ad says, as it sits there on a Beetle pan. But it was pinstriped by a world famous artist...
Unfortunately, my misplaced respect for grammar and spelling caused me to give up without reading the entire wonderfully written description. The pain was just getting unbearable.
This is not the first (or even the 2nd) time we've discussed this car; as a matter of fact, Banzai, in an earlier thread you said "great from the outside but the interior looks like a whore-house(LOL) or some French 1600's Versailles puff palace. But the paint was done well", which I thought was pretty funny (you put into words what I thought of the interior to a tee!) and wholeheartedly agreed with you.
So... is it that slow a week that you're feeling the need to re-hash this abortion again?
I apologized above at the FIRST listing...I realized that I had seen it before and knew that I would catch grief over the SNAFU.....( yes...perfect for call girl/hooker)
MY deepest regrets!
It seems that faux speedsters that are built with a vision that is a good distance from the original concept, or, suffer from too much personalization have a difficult time finding a permanent home.
Well at least it has some really cool wing windows on it! Red..to match the other trim.
These were my prototypes. The guy bought them right off my car when I was visiting Kirk at VS......I guess he got a lot of questions about them when he displayed this car at the SEMA show a couple years ago....I got a few call about them as well........Bruce
He should've submitted some of these to the calendar. Great shots.
Can one of you explain the rear wheel alignment to me?

Looks like a seriously lowered swing axle to me.

It's a great looking car until you get close enough to see the interior...

It is in it's "permanent " home, the owner just doesn't know it yet...
