So I just posted add for my car. It's been a long time since I've posted on Ebay. I really don't want to post my name, phone or email. Will people contact me through my email? Or can I just check my messages on myEbay?

Classified postings do not allow for discussion (replies are not allowed). Direct message the member if you would like to discuss the item.
The Classified section is open to any individual (non-commercial firms) posting of items for sale. Members posting commercial advertisements must be enrolled in a Supporting Merchant program.
Postings without relevant details (PRICE, location, condition, etc.) will be deleted.

they will contact you on ebay and it works quite well. If you or they include too much direct contact information they may block it. Often times people will include a link to a photo gallery or a forum like this and the smart buyers will contact you that way. But as bad as ebay can be, the buyers are actually protected from scams and title issues.
The main complaint as a buyer is that many of the bids can be shills or otherwise fake. It is very common for seller to have friends bid right below reserve. Buyers will see cars relisted many times after a buyer's "son accidentally bid" or other excuse.
According to Wayne Carini, all of the auction companies do the same thing. They enter fake bids to move the bidding closer to the reserve, but not over the reserve.

Bids up OVER $24,000.......I guess/assume bidding quiets down the CLOSER it gets to your asking? BEST of LUCK in auction! Would be nice if SOC family buy......
