where are you installing it?
i had a BN4, BN2 and a B2. the only one i could fit under my hood was a B2 (without massive cutting)
be careful about mounting it below the level of the gas tank. ask me how i know
Was gonna fit where spare wheel goes ? at the mo all av got is the fan runs ,the new fuel pump dont run but i can here the relay clicking ???
ive looked & traced wiring off google BUT you sir may spot it straight away ?
Ive checked fan works, glow plug, therm switch ,saftey switch
have you pulled the glow plug and tested it? careful - they are not 12v, so be sure to use that voltage drop coil. it should glow bright red in under 5 seconds.
i found for my gas heater needed a bit of a boost to light the fire. i wired in a 12v burst to the glow plug. i turn it on - let it go for about 5-10 seconds, then tap the 12v burst and it ignites. i always feel like i am playing with fire.
ye tryed the glow plug out & it works fine ! just thought it might be the wiring ??? or the reley ? is it not a good place to fit in front in spare wheel place ?
have you bench tested it?
all you need is a battery, some wire and a can of gas
we can worry about mounting it later.
ye tried bench test & fan came on but fuel pump didnt run or glow plug so that why I think it may be the relay or my wiring
had another go at eber will I eber eber fix it got all the leky going !!!!!!!!!!!! BUT no heat & fuel is pissin ooot ??? does it need a regulator on fuel ? got new pump off flea bay me finx a explosion is on its way
i feel for you oly.
check out the troubleshooting - do it step by step. you'll get it sorted out.
Be careful! I once was bench testing one and fuel was pissing out then it fired up, along with my work bench.
Like Mango said, you need to methodically go through the trouble shooting process as these things are finicky.
ye I waz sh**ing myself & stopped coz realised wrong pump so just bid on eber from Germany YA left the eber until correct pump sorted ! so prep work begins for paint instead
