Does anyone have a schematic or maybe seen an article or some form of 'How To...' regarding the removal of the eBrake from the center tunnel and locating a functioning hand pull eBrake under dash?
I have the whole under-dash brake unit-magilla in hand now including a copy of mechanic's drawing of all my parts and how the unit itself fits together, but it is the adaptability steps I need.

Any help appreciated... Off to work for now. Another detail worth thinking about BEFORE you select a car and all its options. Buying used I didn't even know to think about it and after two years of driving, I've now decided I like what I've seen in Dale's car and a couple other IMs set up that way.

Paul,
I just happen to have the front of my car in the air, wheels and balljoints off, and the ebrake mechanism clearly visible. If you would like, you are welcome to come up and take a look and some pictures. Henry installed mine using the porsche "under the car parts". Seems he had to fabricate a bracket or two. come on up. I am planning to reassemble Friday. I am in Dixon, "The best fast food stop between San Francisco and great skiing, on beautiful I-80"
