Has anyone considered or looked into installing an electric AC system in a speedster or coupe? I saw a recent post by Rod Emory where he installed in one of his outlaws. Being in FL, I will have AC in my Vintage Motor Cars coupe that’s under construction. Being VW Aircooled powered, I was looking at options to eliminate the compressor in the engine compartment and drag from the engine. Feel like a little weight in the front wouldn’t hurt either for the ride. Would add a higher amp alternator. Found this system on the web. Pricey, but it’s part of the madness.
