I am reposting this link for Eric Kriss and others who were interested in the all EV car show/drag race/autocross/convention held in Cape Girardeau last weekend.
Eric's all electric Beck Speedster took "Best of Show" and Eric looked like he had a blast running the autocross. :)
Duane Ball's electric 904 took people's choice and placed 3rd in the autocross.
Jack Rickard's electric Beck Spyder ran a 2nd place time in the autocross and his electric Beck Speedster ran a 3rd place drag race time, although he removed himself from the awards as the event host.

I have been working with 3 different groups on variations of electric rollers to be converted. 2 of the shops do their own conversion on my roller and one is essentially support/R&D for the DIY client. We've had cars on the road being tested and "tweaked" for a little over 2 years now... Regardless, a lot of the cost is in the batteries and even the DIY isn't cheap.
