My wife gets cold when the temp outside drops below 60 (which is a problem here, as it's below 60 6+ months a year). I've got a 12v blanket for her- it's "OK". But the 12v seat heating pad (a removable 18" square pad) can get so hot it'll make her dial it back to "1".

Every year about this time, guys will start posting pictures of the little ceramic heaters for their dash. They are like peeing in the ocean- run the numbers and you'll see. If you've got poor heat, and want to drive the car- a couple of seat heater pad and electric throws will toast you up nicely.

BTW the heater in the IM-6 will fry you out and then the heated seats are toasty warm. No need for a blanket but Henry did install a 12 Volt power supply as well.
