Considering installing an Elec. Fuel pump in my VS to feed the Webers. They have a unit at CB Perf that seems to do the trick, has anyone installed one of these, if yes, where did you place it and what connection did you use for the positive line?

Highly recommend a quality rotary pump vs the small Facet pump. Pump gets mounted near the tank usually on the triangle piece of sheet metal. Best to wire it in a way that it will shut down in an accident either off an oil pressure switch or better yet, an impact - inertia switch.
CB's $55 rotary pump is actually made by Carter P60504 and is only $46 with free shipping at Amazon.
The price fluctuates on this pump but it is quiet and very reliable. I think I paid 22 dollars for it. I've seen it as high as 80 bucks!
But it self-regulates at exactly 3.5 psi, no more, no less. Perfect.

I saw the Carter on Amazon, but hesitated because it listed 4 psi and not 3.5, I was wondering if CB had a special model made for them, but from what you folks say, it is the same unit. Thanks for the input. Always hate to give the business to Amazon, but at $46 with free 2 day shipping, CB is out of the ballpark plus they have it listed as Out of Stock.
Just ordered from Amazon. Do you folks have VS's or similar? Just wondering where the best place to mount the unit is and what connection is best for the positive wire.

Mount it up front where the beam is under the tank. These pumps are designed to push the fuel, not pull it.
You'll have to run a wire from the ignition switch. Make sure you run a ground wire as well or ground it to the frame using a good ring connector and a star washer.
Alan's suggestion of an inertia or impact switch is a great one. I plan to do that one of these days.

There is a small triangular tray just in front of the passenger footwell and behind the front beam. That area is the perfect place to mount a fuel pump. I just ran a 2" bolt up from the bottom with a nut to hold it in place and used it as a mounting stud. Get an electrical conduit clamp with a rubber bushing in it at Home Depot that will fit the diameter of the pump and that'll anchor it. Use hooded or water-proof electrical connections for it as it'll be where tire splash might hit it.
The fuel filter I used is a NAPA Gold 3031. It is mounted in-line between the gas tank and the pump, on the same shelf and stud. It is mounted with a large electrical clamp. There is no further fuel filtration except for fuel strainers at each carburetor’s inlet (inside of the Banjo fitting).

Just a reminder, when installing the fuel pump, put a 1/4” fuel shutoff between the tank and the filter. Makes it super-easy to swap out the filter later on.

Teby S has the CB pump on his car and it was installed in such a way that if oil pressure is lost the fuel pump shuts off. This feature saved his brand new motor last year when his left rear wheel managed to wear a hole in his oil line and the pressure dropped. The fuel pump quit working and the motor shut off. I'll be doing the same install here soon.
The pump comes with a mounting clamp and a filter. No need to shop at Home Depot or NAPA for this stuff.
I have to ask- is the mechanical pump working now? If it is, why are you replacing it if you're selling the car?
Decided not to sell the car at this time. I read that the elec pump enhances the performance of the Webers.

The pump only enhances performance if your engine was starving for gas at full throttle. A stock mechanical pump is good for 200hp.
I went electric because it's the only way with the shroud I'm using plus a modern rotary pump is the way to go.
A mechanical pump does stop pumping when the engine stops, so there's that simplicity.
Ditto what Ed said, filter and mounting clamp comes with the Carter pump. Filter is already attached to the pump with a hose and clamps. It really doesn't get much easier than that.

It gives you a 3 second prime, but the pump only runs if there's a tach signal
