I apologise if this is a re-post. I'm in the Middle East just now and don't get a chance to see everything that passes through here.

Do you think he has a Super Sound System (SSS) that plays a real flat-four as he burns rubber down the freeway???????? See the windscreen-demister vents? They don't even work very well in my Speedster, what hope do you have with an EV?!!!

Regards, Mike.

Jack Rickard (owner of the above linked car, also shown at Carlisle this past weekend) has made a water jacket to cool the controller motor and he was attempting to plumb that to the cockpit for hot water heat, although I am not sure how that worked. In another EV project of his they were using an electric water heating element to heat water for a heater core. He has a website evtv.me that has tons of EV related videos and there are several on heating an EV. Just FYI
Thank you Carey! I want to an electric vehicle seminar last week and came away pretty damned underwhelmed with the path they had taken on their vehicle. They assured us that "everyone" uses the sillyasssed little electric ceramic heaters. We questioned why that was logical as they are woefully inadequate while still being little energy hogs.

Using the cooling system from the pack is much more logical. Even the water heater idea is better. There is a market for a good EV spyder/speedster. Perhaps Jack has it figured. Two thumbs way up for him if that is the case.

By the way, Carey, the turbo cab? Sweet. I really did a double take on the instruments, but you know what? They look good!

Not sure which car you are speaking of, but thanks. LOL

If you ever have a day to kill in front of the computer, check out Jack Rickard's internet TV show (www.evtv.me) He has HOURS of HD film on building 2 electric speedsters, clips of an electric spyder, clips of the new electric 904, and all the systems (heat, elec AC, etc) that go into them...
It will be something I take the time to do, Carey. I've been accumulating literature, etc., for EV and hybrids. My company has been picking up hybrids regularly, including several hybrid trucks and a hybrid bus, plus an increasing number of EV vehicles. I'm really seeing this stuff all over the map right now. Everything from DANG that's a GREAT concept! To WTF dude, have ye lost ye marbles? The one I saw this last week fell into that group unfortunately...
