Mean Green Super Widebody Machine

Two questions:

1) I hear 'widebody' and 'super wide body' used a bit when talking about the flared cars. Are they the same body style or is the 'super wide body' a specific body design? 

 

2) What's up next on your build list?

Yes there is a difference.  Look closely at a flared CMC Speedster and you will see that the Super Widebody is a wider flare.  Vintage and JPS sell 3 versions, a regular body, a Widebody and a Super Widebody.  They are all different than the CMC Widebody, which is also commonly referred to as the California version.

Thanks Vince.  It really is a super nice car.  Did you see that I included the video of you car selling at Mecums?  I wish I could wait until the next time they are on the west coast, but I need to sell them and move on. 

Troy, the Mecum sale should raise the bar at least slightly, especially since that's the main way (auctions) to categorize sales of all collector/specialty autos...

No it hasn't sold, but there is a $22,000 bid, which is below my reserve.  TRPs link should work.

 

If you are searching under Porsche Speedster you may not find it because the word Porsche does not appear anywhere in the text of the ad.  Search under Speedster.

I hate wide bodies! But, goddam I like that one.

By the way.  We are in Pismo this weekend and it's an unbelievable 74 degrees here today!!!!!

It's below freezing and barely enough snow on the local mountains for the hills to open. I don't want to hear it!
