I just installed a front sway bar on the latest car.... It came with EMPI red urethane bushings and those stainless steel clamps.... It only took the better part of three hours to get it on with all the screws pointed somewhere they would not cause problems and no unintended points of contact existed... The urethane bushings will probably survive as long as I have the car,... The biggest problem was the clamps... EMPI's supplier got around the German patents by swapping the screw and nut positions on the clamps, making them extremely difficult to install.... With standard clamps, it takes 30 min to install a bar... I know, Its a hobby... 8- )

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.....

Leon--did you squeeze thise clamps with the largest channel lock plirs
so the bolts would go thru enough to get a nut on?

Knowing you---you probably have an even much vbetter wayand EPPI indeed struck again.

The big channel locks really made it possible to get mine on ---I wrestled for a l-ooo-ng time without those C. L. s.

I'm anxious to see that car I know it will be sensational. It's gonna take some time to get used to seeing you in a Speedster because I identified you driving that Spyder.
Jack and all..... After bending on each clamp enough to get the screws into their tubes, I used a "heavy duty" hose clamp ( worm screw drive ) to compress the clamps ( one at a time ) enough to get the nuts on... Biggest problem was conflict between towing loop ( OEM VW ) and the bar and the screws required repositioning to miss various pieces / parts.... Lots of fun... Car's maiden appearance at Carlisle....

And Merry Christmass to you all.... HO, HO, HO..... 8- }
