Engine cooling

A while back, there was a disscussion on modifing engine covers for better air flow to the carbs. I just loaded some pictures of the cutouts I did with a dremel tool and a little time. Check this out on members file carumba356. Let me know what you think.

Did the same to mine, Eddie. I had to, so the deck lid would clear the 911 shroud. Only problem is when it rains...water gets everywhere. Lands on the 911 fan and is thrown around. It does give a direct air source to the fan, though. I have thought of putting a clear plastic scoop over the deck grill...but I think that might look kind of dumb.

Where did you get the coco mats? Did you have to custom cut them after buying them? The Porsche emblem in the Steering wheel is awesome as well.

This has nothing to do with the gas tank, but where did you get great looking exhaust? Bob E
