does anybody know what car the engine cover latch came from in a mid 80's cmc car? it looks common enough, but i can't find a replacement. it's a cable pull type,and looks to be american in origin....

I have one off a '75ish Chevy MonteCarlo that looks just like it. I'm planning on using the electric actuator that came with it. If I can dig it out in the garage - I'll take a picture of the OEM one and the Chevy (GM) one.
