A bunch of us are still around in spite of ourselves.

The dumb-ass things we do when we're young always catch up with us later on.

The "under-dash-hunch" has infected a lot of us.  So has over-head-wrenching !

Key to working under a spyder dash is seats out, padding on the floor (we us told seat cushions), neck or shoulder on the cowl hoop, head under the dash, back of your knees on the upper rear firewall trim and feet on the clamshell.

I've spent HOURS, probably days or weeks worth of them, under a spyder like this.  It's pretty comfortable once settled in, just getting into and OUT OF that position is what really sucks.

Fiberglass dune buggies: Once you have gone under the dash there is no way to get out unassisted unless you have a steering wheel in place and roll bar, it's still a grunt and me, at 72)  refer to this as "Dash Sex" because you're porked once you're under it. Once I'm under the dash my wife is my wiring assistant handing me whatever I need.  A speedster dash access is, a lap of luxury comparison :~)

I finally got it out for a brief test run. It was cloudy and chilly, but the electricity was flowing.
