I am in the market for an engine, and a friends son has one in his
garage that is about 1 year old and which he wants 35oo for.
I was suprised that he Knew very little about it since he had it
built himself..Couldn't give me the approx HP but he does have the
perticulars, so I thought I would ask the experts....it is as follows:
2110cc...crank:82mm scat volks stroker 2 pro-comp...rods:scat pro-moly
...pistons:90.5 mahle rings: total seal....cam:engle fk87 .561x.320
comp: 9.0:1...ignition msd 6al box billet dist.msd blaster 2 coil...dual weber 48 ida's intake man. berg, match ported...flywheel:200mm 12lb 8 doweled.....there is more but I think you get the picture....
Not knowing as much as I probably should, according to you guys,
this sounds like a motor that would be appropriate for someone who
likes to tinker...If this is a good deal let me know and I can give you a phone no...he claims to have spend over double that amount to
build it...

If you want a good idea of parts cost I think CBPerformance could give it to you and maybe even give you a price built for the specs your refering to.....of course the price for the professional built motor will be a little higher but in my opinion well worth it....you could also give Jake a call at Aircooledtechnology.....he could give you a close estimate very quickly
