engine hood latch pin

I have a CMC that came with a few pieces missing. One is the pin that is attached to the rear engine hood. there is a hole in the fiberglass where something once was, but I need to know if this is a VW part that I can buy, and if anyone has advice on the best repair, reinforecement process. Thanks
