When I moved my right throttle toggle to allow room to remove my old battery and then re-secured it after installing my new Odyssey battery my idle was affected (too high). My right carb was hitting the idle stop properly but the left carb wasn't even though I did not move the left toggle. Carey Hines helped me solve the issue by suggesting I move both toggles a bit until both carbs hit the idle stop properly. I started with the left toggle since the left carb was the one not hitting the idle stop (about 1/4" off). When I moved the left toggle a bit I watched the left carb idle stop and it then struck properly so tightened the left toggle on the octagon bar accordingly. Idle then returned to normal. Thank you ONCE AGAIN Carey! Guy is busier than one can only imagine but takes the time to help a struggler. I posted this just in case an inexperienced owner ever has an idle change -- check your right and left toggle positions before ever touching either idle screw which I was about to do before Carey warned me not to.
