I am looking to find more about my 2100cc engine. It was put together by a company named Cerrano or Serrano, not sure of the spelling. Can anyone help in offering a phone # and there experience with these folks ?

I've been satisfied with my 1776 from them. They build a lot of engines- no break-in or dyno, etc, but a decent warranty. Like everything else "you get what you pay for"- you want more, you can pay more. All in all, they offer a lot for the money. I've gotten some pricing from Steve, and talked with him on the phone- he strikes me as a decent guy, and gets back to me via email promptly. He lists a lot of parts and engines on the Samba, you can check them out there.

Serrano also put together my new 2332 cc Type I. This is a new configuration for their shop and I had a few issues after my first shakedown cruise. They addressed them immediately and actually came to JPS Motorsports to make a couple of post-delivery adjustments. So far, I like the new engine very much. Quite a change from my previous 1776.
